Bob launched a new company, The Vation Group, in January, 2015, after selling his catering and event company that he founded in 2000. He has now moved his speaking and training business to his own website (BobPacanovsky.com) and has left the Hospitality and Event Consulting with The Vātion Group.
Bob has spoken to numerous companies, colleges, and organizations, including the national Catersource/Event Solutions conference in Las Vegas, the COSE Small Business Convention, and The Ohio Society of CPA Conferences and is a consultant for The Corporate University at Kent State- Stark Campus.
Companies including the Akron Summit Visitors & Convention Bureau, ComDoc, Aultman Hospital, Apple Growth Partners, and the Great Trail Council of the Boy Scouts give Bob high marks for his ability to capture the attention of the audience and keep them interested and engaged.
Bob is a graduate of The University of Akron with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He was chosen as a Distinguished Sales & Marketing Executive from the prestigious Sales & Marketing Executives International. He is a Leadership Akron-Class 23 graduate and serves on the boards of OPEN M and the Greater Akron Chamber-Small Business Council. He is also the chairperson of the Stewardship Council for his church.
