What is Fear to Fortitude?
New Keynote!
From Fear to Fortitude- The steps needed to move forward
What if you were given the opportunity to do the one thing that put the most fear in you? Would you do it? For most of us, the answer would probably be not just “no”, but “heck no!”
We all have fears, some are larger for us than others. How we manage these fears is critical for our physical and mental wellbeing. What if you could look fear in the face and tell it- “Nope, I got this now. I’ve got you and all of this under control.”
Is it easy? No. Can it be done? Absolutely. And I am living proof of it. I took probably my biggest fear and something that I would have never thought I would be able to do and am making a living with it.
Shifting your mindset from Fear to Fortitude is a presentation that I was not going to give, ever. In my mind, it was easier for me to hide my fear of myself, as well as others. But then I lost a bet with someone very important in my life, and I needed (and wanted) to honor that bet.
I realized that it’s okay to have fears, but it’s even better to have the fortitude to look that fear right in the face and know that you can manage it! This just isn’t a feel-good and inspirational story. It’s a story that will give you actionable items that you can implement in your journey, whatever that may be.

“I hired Bob to be the Keynote Speaker and Facilitator for the Ohio Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) annual Leadership Development Conference. Bob was energetic, passionate and thoughtful with his communication to our members. He took the time to understand their profession, their challenges, and their opportunities and created a customized message that resonated with them. Our participants left with renewed energy and purpose and tangible action steps to enhance our association. Feedback from our members indicated they found real value in The Black Tie Experience—it was the highest rated program in the past five years.”
